Author guidelines
Author submits an electronic copy of:
- an article, its size – 40, 000 characters;
- appendices of the article (illustrations in JPEG format, tables and graphs in Microsoft Excel files; fonts that are not included in the core set of Windows);
- licensing agreement (once the article has been accepted for publication).
The article file must have a file name which includes the author's surname and the date of article's submission, e.g.: Ivanov_28-02-2015;

The information about the author (it is recommended to give an ORCID identification number), funds supporting scientific research and other reference information must be given in a footnote at the bottom of the page, for example:

This is followed by the text which includes:
- introduction;
- the main body of the article consisting of the problem-oriented and thematic clusters;
- conclusion.
References in text should be the following: the bracketed number is placed in the order of appearance indicating pages – [1, p.34], (see, for example: [2, p.56], (cited from: [6, p.88]), when referring to multiple numbers – [1, p.55; 2, p.346; 3, p.78].
The article concludes with the list of references.

If DOI is assigned to the article, it must be given in the reference.
References to archival documents, manuscripts, statistical directories, Internet publications not included in the registered electronic editions, newspapers, published legislative acts, museum exhibits, various author's explanations etc. are presented in footnotes which are numbered sequentially.
Names of archival and other organizations, collections of laws, statistical data etc., given in an abbreviated form, must be explained when first mentioned. For example: Russian State Archive of Contemporary History (RGANI). F.5. Op.46. D.164. L.20.
When making reference to a newspaper the author must specify the year, day and month of its issue. The issue number is specified if its date is unknown.
